Is this a one-time thing, or if you are able to synchronize with Outlook all the time instead of Palm Desktop?
The installation CD comes with Palm software that can synchronize with Outlook instead of Palm Desktop. This is the easiest way, but it is relatively stable, they would have the synchronization software for change remove it.
You can also use 3rd party software on the same, the more power and possibilities that the software included in delivery has to do.
